The cave town of Uplistsike is amazing but a challenging trek over uneven ground and lots of steps for us older folk! Don’t be put off however, it’s manageable with sensible footwear and a hat. Do bring your own bottled water though as none is provided. There is a cafe and restrooms close to the entrance and exit. The Stalin museum is very interesting. An optional lunch option in Gori is available which other guests said was really good, however, we opted for free time as lunch would…”
